In a grand celebration held at the Shangri-La Hotel in Kuala Lumpur on 27th August 2024, the Republic of Singapore marked its 59th National Day with a special commemoration. This year also celebrate 100th anniversary of the Johor-Singapore Causeway. This iconic landmark, inaugurated on 28 June 1924, has been instrumental in nurturing and sustaining the enduring relationship between Singapore and Malaysia.
During this prestigious event, ASEAN Hub proudly presented the artwork “Power of Love” by the esteemed artist Bluvso Bok. This extraordinary piece was gifted to commemorate the significance of the occasion. Bluvso Bok’s artwork, titled “Power of Love,” exquisitely captures the spirit of perseverance and aspiration that is central to the human experience. The concept of “星光不问赶路人” (translated as “Starlight Does Not Question the Traveler”) lies at the heart of the artwork, deeply resonating with the audience by depicting universal struggles, determination, and the relentless pursuit of dreams.
