ASEAN Records is proud to officially recognize Johan Speaking Academy as the new record holder for the Most Cumulative Outdoor Public Speaking by Children Since 2015, with a remarkable 6,869 sessions conducted across Malaysia by children aged 5 to 17.
This historic achievement was commemorated at a special ceremony held at Zoo Negara, with the esteemed presence of Datuk Rosly @ Rahmat Ahmat Lana, who graciously witnessed the official recognition moment. The atmosphere was filled with pride and inspiration as students, parents, and educators gathered to celebrate this milestone in children’s empowerment through public speaking.
Founded by Johan Ooi and Cherry Ho, Johan Speaking Academy has spent the past decade nurturing young voices in real-world settings — from shopping malls to bustling parks — helping children overcome stage fright and build confidence, clarity, and charisma. Through their innovative programs and dedication, the academy has transformed thousands of children into articulate, expressive, and fearless communicators.
This recognition underscores not only the power of consistent practice but also the importance of real-world platforms for children to grow their communication skills beyond the classroom.
