Malaysia is set to host the flagship ASEAN Business and Investment Summit (ABIS 2025) on 25–26 October 2025 at the Malaysia International Trade & Exhibition Centre (MITEC). Co-located with the 47th ASEAN Summit, the two-day event will convene over 1,500 global leaders—including heads of state, CEOs, entrepreneurs, and policymakers—to collaborate on building a more unified and resilient regional economy.

Event Theme & Spotlight: “Unifying Markets for Shared Prosperity”

At a time of mounting challenges—from geopolitical fragmentation and climate threats to rapid digital transformation—ABIS 2025 underscores ASEAN’s strategic imperative to chart a collaborative path forward. The summit’s theme, “Unifying Markets for Shared Prosperity,” highlights the critical role of private-sector innovation and policy reform in reinforcing ASEAN’s position as a resilient, inclusive global economic player.

A key highlight includes the ASEAN Business Awards (ABA) scheduled for 26 October, honoring outstanding regional enterprises across 12 curated categories—a celebration of excellence in business leadership and innovation.

Stamp of Leadership from ASEAN-BAC and Regional Partners

Hosted by the ASEAN Business Advisory Council (ASEAN-BAC) Malaysia, ABIS 2025 aligns with Malaysia’s 2025 ASEAN Chairmanship priorities: promoting inclusive growth, digital transformation, and sustainable development.

Beginning in April, ASEAN-BAC opened expressions of interest to ensure maximum stakeholder engagement and to set the stage for a dynamic agenda.
