108 Volunteers Come Together for a Record Achievement

The Together in Charity Gala Dinner 2026 featured a coordinated Tai Chi fan performance with 108 participants, each holding a specially designed fan.

Combining UV-fluorescent elements and glow-in-the-dark logos, the 108 fans created a vivid visual spectacle as volunteers moved in unison, drawing on traditional Tai Chi fan techniques.

Nearly six months of planning and rehearsals went into the performance, demonstrating the volunteers’ dedication, discipline and teamwork.

The participants represented diverse age groups and professions, with some families attending rehearsals together. Their collective commitment made the performance a meaningful celebration of unity and community spirit.

Blending Cultural Tradition with Visual Creativity

Tai Chi fan performances bring together traditional Chinese martial arts, rhythmic movements and synchronised choreography.

In this record-setting performance, UV-fluorescent fans featuring glow-in-the-dark logos added a modern visual element to the traditional art form.

Moving in unison, 108 performers presented a celebration of cultural heritage that reflected the volunteers’ creativity and dedication.

By including the performance in a charity gala dinner, HOU GU showed how cultural expression can unite communities around meaningful social causes.
