St John Ambulans Malaysia Negeri Selangor Darul Ehsan (SJAM-SDE) has been officially recognised by ASEAN Records for becoming the First Non-Governmental Uniformed Organisation to Provide Free Anti Blue-Light Prescription Glasses for Underprivileged Communities Through Its Ophthalmic Care Outreach Project. The recognition follows the organisation’s successful screening of 1,669 individuals and the provision of 1,005 pairs of free prescription glasses between June 2025 and June 2026, establishing a new regional benchmark in humanitarian eye care and community health outreach.
