Malaysia is reaffirming its commitment to advancing integrity, transparency and good governance across Southeast Asia as the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) prepares to host the 22nd ASEAN Parties Against Corruption (ASEAN-PAC) Secretariat Meeting in Melaka from 28 to 30 July 2026. The regional gathering will bring together anti-corruption agencies, international organisations and strategic partners to strengthen collective efforts in combating corruption and promoting institutional integrity.
Hosted during Malaysia’s 2025–2026 ASEAN-PAC Chairmanship, the meeting reflects the country’s growing leadership role in fostering cross-border cooperation against increasingly sophisticated corruption challenges. Delegates from all ASEAN member states, together with Timor-Leste, will participate alongside representatives from organisations including the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the International Association of Anti-Corruption Authorities (IAACA).
